Tue Mar 26, 2013

Gallinippers! Monster mosquitoes poised to strike Florida
Sat Mar 9, 2013
I was born in central Florida and I've spent 37 of my 39 years living here. All of the stories you see in the media about the state & its residents - human, insect, or other - are true. That said, I'd still rather live here than somewhere else where it snows.

Small tsunami waves hit Japan after 7.3-magnitude earthquake
Fri Dec 7, 2012
Japan is right near several major tectonic plate boundaries. Heck, the entire island chain is the result of tectonic plates moving against each other. They have a long history of earthquakes. So, yeah, the odds are pretty good that they'd get another quake near the same place.
You may be boozing your brain cells away
Fri Dec 7, 2012
"That which doesn't kill me, makes me stronger." Therefore, when I drink, I'm only killing the weak brain cells, leaving the strong brain cells to survive and procreate. This might explain why I feel smarter when I drink. The result is a net benefit!
